How to Do Nabhi Oiling

The practice is simple and can be incorporated into a daily routine,

often at night for maximum absorption: 

1.    Clean Ensure the navel area is clean and dry.

2.    Warm the oil Slightly warm the oil to a comfortable temperature.

3.    Apply Lie down in a relaxed position and place 2-3 drops of oil into

the belly button.

4.    Massage Gently massage the area around the navel in a circular motion

for 3-5 minutes, allowing the oil to penetrate the skin.

5.    Rest For best results, leave the oil on overnight. A small cotton ball can

be placed in the navel to prevent staining clothes. 

Recommended Oils

The choice of oil often depends on the desired benefit: 

  • Glowing Skin & Hydration: Coconut oil, almond oil,
  • or ghee (clarified butter).
  • Digestion & Pain Relief: Castor oil or mustard oil.
  • Acne & Detox: Neem oil or diluted tea tree oil
  • (always use a carrier oil for essential oils).
  • General Wellness & Balance: Sesame oil. 

Always perform a patch test to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.
